Web15 Jan 2008 · The mutineers were trapped. Increasingly desperate, there were fights on board some of the ships between the hard-line mutineers and men who wanted to give themselves up. The ships had all been recaptured a month after the mutiny had broken out. 29 of the mutineers' leaders at the Nore were hanged.
