Dynamics of tethered satellite systems
WebSep 4, 2016 · This paper presents the nonlinear dynamic modeling and control of a tethered satellite system (TSS), and the control strategy is based on the state-dependent Riccati equation (SDRE). The TSS is modeled by a two-piece dumbbell model, which leads to a set of five nonlinear coupled ordinary differential equations. Two sets of equations of … WebMay 5, 2024 · Reference [ 16] proposed a novel adaptive dynamic sliding mode scheme for the deployment of the tethered satellite system. Although the input and command signals are limited based on the strictly bounded terms, the control tension force is discontinuous.

WebFeb 1, 2024 · This work proposed a novel adaptive neural dynamics (AND)-based speed control strategy for the stable sub satellite’s retrieval of the tethered satellite system (TSS). The new control scheme is implemented by adjusting the retrieval speed only. An analytical speed function is used to ensure stable retrieval without libration motion overall.
