"Make cloth bag" will take vegetal cloth, "Make silk cloth bag" will take cave spider silk and "Make yarn cloth bag" will take sheeps, yaks and whatnot processed yarn. WebDec 13, 2024 · because he may need specific thread/stone/bone you dont have and chance is he needs what he likes. another idea could be that you dont have enough of it (you have 1 and he needs 3) He already has the bones and the stone stocked in the workshop, he only needs the thread, and I have at least 4 of every type of thread now.

Leather has better bash protection, but it's not really all that good. Having silk clothes and wearing armour over clothes gives you the best all around protection. And... samurai... You don't need to capture a Demon or Forgotten Beast in a cage trap to start a silk farm - all you need to do is trap it in an area such that it can shoot its webs but not otherwise bother you. WebOne dwarf will be a farmer and gets the grower skill. Farming is critical for almost every fortress, and works much better with skilled farmers. Grower skill determines how big a plant stack will a planted seed grow. And the bigger the plant stacks, the more efficient and productive food, booze, cloth etc industries will be.
